Day Trip To Imlil And Berber Villages From Marrakech

This excursion starts with a pickup from your accommodation at 9 AM by an air-conditioner and comfortable vehicle to drive you to imlil valley, you will spend a full day with locals and discover the hidden villages of the High Atlas with a professional mountain guide, you will travel through the amazingly beautiful landscapes of the high atlas mountains, first, we will head to Tahanaout at 30 KM from Marrakech, after stops for photos we will continue driving via the beautiful hidden Berber villages until we reach Asni in the High Atlas Mountains, the little town of Asni which is a buzz of activity as local Berbers sell their produce and goods (Saturday is market day – a particularly interesting day to visit), after continuing your explorative journey towards Imlil Valley to challenge the hikes and enjoy the real Berber hospitality where the original native still embrace their traditions and culture. You will meet your local mountain guide who will lead you for a 1-hour and half round-trip hike to Armed Village, the final village on the way into the High Atlas, you can visit a historic kasbah of Toubkal (optional) set high above the valley’s lush, explore the surrounding trails and superb views of terraced farms, next have lunch of Tajine in a Berber family home or local restaurant, salad, and fresh fruit, with mineral water. After that we take the road back to Marrakech, this excursion ends with drop-off at your accommodation in town approximately at 05:00 PM.
