Itinerary

This excursion starts with a pickup from your accommodation at 9 AM by an air-conditioner and comfortable vehicle to drive you for an amazing journey to scout valleys, Berber villages, and the High Atlas Mountains. On your way, you stop for a while to take some memorable photos and enjoy panoramic views of Lake Lalla Takerkoust, the one that supplies this arid region of Morocco with water. Then, you take the road to the village of Aguergour, where you will have a fresh mint tea in the Berber family house, and see how we make Moroccan tea like a ceremony. Next, we continue to the Kik Plateau where you will learn more about the customs of nomadic people. We will reach the village of Asni where you stroll in the weekly Berber market if you’re visiting on Tuesday, then continue through the valley of Sidi fares and pass by the ski station of Oukaimden to reach the Ourika valley in the Atlas Mountains with breathtaking views and take the opportunity to take a camel ride (optional). After a camel ride, you will be driven to the end of the Valley, where you will stop to meet your local mountain guide, who will take you on a walking and hiking tour of the 7 waterfalls in Setti Fadma Mountains. After the hike, you will enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant by the river or at a Berber family house. After that we take the road back to Marrakech, this excursion ends with drop-off at your accommodation in town approximately at 05:00 PM.
